Our Park at Moorshop, some two miles from Tavistock is tucked into the side of Cox Tor and inside the National Park boundary. A short walk finds you on the expanse of Dartmoor and all its glory. Originally part of a holiday complex it is now a community in its own entity with only a shared access to alert you to the existence of your neighbours. The park is set back from the road with fields and sheep an indication that you have a farm nearby. The attractive and busy market town of Tavistock is set on the western edge of the Dartmoor National Park and provides numerous leisure amenities including a theatre and swimming pool. Serviced by a regular bus service stopping at the entrance to the Park it provides onward links to Cornwall and the cities of Plymouth and Exeter with their main line train services from Penzance to Edinburgh!
